Easter Egg Hunt

Our church Easter Egg Hunt was this morning.  We gathered in the Family Life Center and sang some songs.  Then, after a few instructions, we went out and found our eggs.  We then went back in to open them up.  Meighan didn't want to do any crafts so off we went to get groceries before coming home by noon and eating lunch.

Lion King!

We got to see "The Lion King" today!  Meighan had been doing a countdown every day since at least three weeks ago and FINALLY -- today was the day!  My mom had gotten the tickets (apparently right when they went on sale 'cause we had REALLY GOOD SEATS!) and she met us there.  It was again a very chilly, snowy day like it was when we saw "Beauty and the Beast".  Meighan kept asking what time it was and when the show would start.  I decided we had time to go out and check out the souvenirs.  She decided on a stuffed Pumbaa.

This was the only semi trailer sitting out (probably for advertisement).  I'm assuming they have more than this.  I can't imagine they can get all those costumes and lights and set pieces and puppets all in one semi.

Virtuoso?

Dawson wanted to play the piano this morning.  So I opened it up and set him down.  He looks so serious!  It was somewhat difficult to get him to look up for a picture!

 

 

 

He REALLY likes music!  I think I see piano lessons in his future!
